Nature Paavola at Kauhajoki Outdoor & Hunting Fair 2026 – A Weekend Among Nature Enthusiasts
The Kauhajoki Outdoor & Hunting Fair, held on 17–19 July 2026, brought together people passionate about hunting, fishing, hiking, and the outdoors. Nature Paavola took part in the event as part of a shared exhibition stand funded by the Municipality of Soini, alongside Erämaan Lumo. The fair gave us a wonderful opportunity to meet both new and familiar faces and share our passion for a nature-inspired lifestyle, as well as introduce our products and services.
A Successful Collaboration with Erämaan Lumo
We shared our exhibition stand with Erämaan Lumo, a nature and wilderness tourism network based in Soini. The network brings together local businesses and services offering hunting experiences, fishing trips, guided nature excursions, and other outdoor activities. Its mission is to strengthen Soini's reputation as an attractive destination for nature tourism.
The collaboration proved to be a great success. Our shared stand provided visitors with a comprehensive overview of what the region has to offer, allowing us to showcase both our products and services. Throughout the weekend, we enjoyed many inspiring conversations about outdoor life, sustainable choices, and the expertise and traditions of South Ostrobothnia.
Bringing Nature Enthusiasts Together
Now held for the second time, the Kauhajoki Outdoor & Hunting Fair has established itself as one of the summer's key events for outdoor and wilderness enthusiasts. Approximately 8,000 visitors attended the fair, meeting the organisers' expectations despite the variable weather on Friday and Saturday.
Our stand had a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the weekend. It was a pleasure to meet people who share our enthusiasm for hunting, fishing, hiking, and Finland's beautiful natural environment. The event offered an excellent opportunity to connect with customers, exchange ideas, and build new partnerships.
